Khrystina Pryani is a musician and songwriter born and raised in NYC and the mother of 3 home born children. In 2007 Khrystina started her own label, Free Soul Music and has independently released singles and an LP entitled ‘Decade’ which are available on iTunes.

We connected when Khrystina was pregnant with her third babe and she shared this message with me:

"I am pregnant with my third and as of today, I am 42 weeks and 1 day. I have been searching for positive and empowering experiences of other mamas. Thank you for your magazines and posts, I have been hanging onto every word, they have been feeding and comforting me through this process."

So naturally, we were gonna be best friends, right? Khrystina went onto birth her babe at 42 weeks and 6 days and she will be sharing this birth, and her previous experiences with us today.

Alison Howley is the Rockstar Mama heart behind From the Womb to the World blog - a movement dedicated to reminding women of their power and strength,  and of the joy and beauty of birth. Along with her husband, Alison has created Surrounded By Nature, a meditative birthing album of soothing sounds of nature and relaxation music for pregnant mamas to play whilst bringing their babies down. Surrounded by Nature is available to purchase as an instant digital download, CD or DVD at www.wombtotheworldmusic.com, and can also be streamed from iTunes and Spotify. I invited Alison on to Rockstar Birth Radio to share how her birth experiences - the first a disempowered hospital experience, the second an empowered planned homebirth - have seen her become a passionate advocate for undisturbed birth.”

Tiffany DeLancy, also known as Namaste Tiff, is a birth doula, yogi mama, essential oil lover, and mother of 2 home born daughters. I connected with Tiffany after seeing her publicly shared homebirth video of her youngest daughter Violet Lu - one of the most powerful and family-based birth videos - complete with her eldest daughter Nora Jane in attendance as her doula. Regardless of whether you are planning a homebirth, I encourage you to watch this joyful video - I have included a link to the video in the show notes. Get on it, mama.

Anne Margolis is a practicing Midwife in New York who started her career as a labour and delivery nurse. When her first 2 babes were born in hospital, under the threat of caesarean, Anne got a real understanding of how labouring mamas receive maternity care and was inspired to become a licenced midwife.  She went on to birth her next 2 children at home, and is now a dedicated holistic homebirth midwife operating in New York and New Jersey, with extensive qualifications and experience.

Anne is also an aspiring yogi and prenatal and postpartum yoga teacher, a doula, and a childbirth educator, and you are going to love her straight-down-the-line approach to birth.

You can find more of Anne's goodness (including the odd yoga headstand!) at her online home homesweethombirth.com and you can become part of her online community at homesweethomebirth on both Facebook and Instagram, where she provides services to women across the globe; for empowered, healthy, joyful living in childbearing & beyond.
